Terms of Service

1. The service

CallMate provides software that automatically replies to missed calls with SMS messages, captures leads, and helps you manage follow-up. We provide the service "as is" with the availability described on our Status page.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and authorised to act on behalf of your business. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account.

3. Acceptable use

• No unsolicited marketing SMS (spam). All replies must relate to the missed call.
• No illegal, harassing or abusive messages.
• No reverse engineering, scraping or attempts to disrupt the service.
• You must comply with PECR, the UK GDPR, and Ofcom guidance.

4. Fees and billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice; changes won't apply to your current billing period.

5. Trial

We may offer a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription will start automatically.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel any time from the billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the data and content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to our infrastructure.

9. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be resolved in the English courts.
